New Prince Edward Island Convention Centre Announced

A new $17.5 million, 36,000 square foot convention centre to be developed on the historic Charlottetown waterfront will significantly increase the province's capacity to host major conferences and conventions, a fast-growing sector of Prince Edward Island's tourism industry. Premier Robert Ghiz joined with representatives of the federal government, the Mi'kmaq Confederacy of Prince Edward Island and the province's tourism industry to announce this new project.
