This section provides leadership, programs and services to the residents of Prince Edward Island in the areas of cultural development and heritage preservation. Grant programs are offered for the development of cultural and heritage initiatives of community-based not for profit groups. This section also has responsibility for the Island Art Collection and acts as the government liaison to community-based organizations which are representative of the culture and heritage sectors.
